When was the last time you entered a space that looked from the same century as drones, reusable rockets, and self-driving cars?

Every year, all of us stand amazed at the relentless rollout of cutting-edge products, vehicles, and technologies.

Despite this, it seems to us that most of the structures built today keep recycling traditional forms, and fail to remind us that-

The future is now

That simple but profound idea inspired us to create the LARS Corporation, where we work towards one key goal:

To make that future visible, habitable, sustainable, but above all, exciting.

The Cybunker is but the first step. And Austin is only the beginning.

After the construction of this first prototype, not only do we intend to begin pre-sales for those interested customers who continue to inquire about building a Cybunker of their own, but we also plan to continue developing more lodges in other locations throughout the US so that the experience of staying in a dwelling from this century is anything but exclusive.

ABOUT THE CYBUNKER

The LARS ADU-1 “Cybunker” (US Design Patent No. 963,197) is a modular architecture that can be deployed as a hi-tech depot, a secondary living unit, or an off-grid residence.

Thanks to its rigid steel monocoque structure and aerodynamic shape, the Cybunker is able to withstand the toughest environmental conditions, while its state-of-the-art circular infrastructure creates a microgrid capable of ensuring self-sustenance in the most isolated sites, or as an auxiliary system for on-grid dwellings.

Inside, a bi-fold tailgate reveals a 465 square-foot carport able to accommodate an array of equipment and vehicles -including trucks that don’t fit in standard garages. For more extreme or hostile environments, this depot can be equipped to function as an airlock, allowing a safe transition between exterior and interior.
Thanks to its inherently open, monocoque architecture, the 1,365 square-foot interior layout of the Cybunker can be customized to serve limitless functions, including an apartment, shelter, storage, or other commercial uses. While maximally protective, the unit features panoramic views through its lateral windows made of armored glass, with skylights allowing additional sunlight to enter the space.
Whether sited on the most remote location, or as a man cave in a suburban lot, Cybunker guarantees a versatile and futureproof system that can be deployed to withstand the toughest demands.
